Effective February 1, 2025
Over recent months, we have noticed a rise in damaged water meter antennas
at residents’ homes. Most often this damage is caused when someone
inadvertently mows over the meter box with a lawn mower. These antennas
wirelessly transmit data to the Utility Billing department, allowing them to read
your meter and accurately track your water usage.
When a water meter, antenna or box is damaged, it needs to be replaced
immediately. If your meter, antenna or box is replaced due to damage, you will
see a fee added to your water bill to cover the cost of replacement.
To avoid extra fees from a damaged water meter, antenna or box it is
recommended that you use a weed eater, rather than a lawnmower, to trim the
grass around the water meter.

New Water Rates

Our water rates will increase effective January 1, 2025. The new rates will reflect on your February billing for January usage.
